After spending most of the weekend knocking out advertising for the local motorcycle industry (not a complaint - just a statement) it was great when my mate Tracy rang and said 'what about a late Sunday arvo spin?'.
We ended up at Waiuku - on the West Coast about 70km south of Auckland at a cheeky little restaurant called 'Castaways' perched on the dunes overlooking the beach.
About 30km of nice sports bike road on the way out there and his Aprilia Factory Mille sounds superb on the gas. The Buell mixed it up fine. We were two up and cruising.
Then I left he and the girls waiting for dinner and I hit the beach. Did 20km or so while a very nice Porterhouse served with a red wine jus was prepared.
Not bad this NZ Adventure riding.
