On my ex '94 I used to leave it to 350 at a pinch on the open road, still a few litres left though ! So that 380 is on the money.
Cheers,
Sedge.

I tend to get 320-340 till reserve. Though once I went 360 and still never switched, however that was a trip to Dunedin with a tailwind and sitting at 30% more than....
Around town, 220-230 till reserve.

Hey montsta, enjoy the south i've yet to get there but that'll all change in april as mate and i going down for 2 weeks so it'll be a good chance to really test the fuel limits!
The fuel taps not too bad you'll figure out when its time to go to reserve. Yeah i'm pretty pleased with my D4, i'm running dynojet kit plus K&N filter plus some suspension goodies makes all the difference.
The old C models are still a bloody good bike mate....enjoy!

Hi Ogri 1
I'm running fully adjustable Ohlins rear and Ohlins front springs
The adjustable rear is awesome i can dial up whatever preload or rebound i need if its just me out for a quick trip into town or when i've got a pillion on its easy just to increase the stiffness. A tad expensive, the ohlin rear was $1800 and the front springs about $400 for a pair but the bike feels like its brand new. I got them fitted at 80000km i'm now up to 93000 a year later and its made a huge difference!
