Yes they have. A guy named Peter Jones (formerly from invercargill now living in Chch) built one ages ago. Was fun to ride hahaha but dangerous as hell.

yes I have, there are two in Chch, the one owned by Peter Jones and another he built for a friend, the second one is harder to ride as it has a bit more power and the throttle is quicker action

There was one I saw at the Brass Monkey about 5 years ago - damned if I know how he controlled it over rough ground. (or at all):confused:

seen those,looked fairly easy to ride compared to Petes toy, I guess it took me about an hour of pissing about untill I got the hang of it

A guy I know did major damage to him self when he did a face plant off it at top speed, dislocated his shoulder and rooted all the tendon/ligaments in his forearms
