Looks pretty good to me, but what do you guys think. Sounds like a young guy, but doesnt necessarily mean its been thrashed. Can warranty's be transferred to new owners?

That doesnt look like an '05 bike to me. Looks like Buggy's '04. No underseat pipe for a start.

Ah true the underseat pipe is on the '05 models... must be an '04 that was first reg in '05

Edit: just compared pics (good ol google imagesearch), def looks like an '04 model

Ive been txting the seller, he told me that it is an '04 model, but it was first reg 6 months ago, so that explains why its advertised as an '05. Will take 11k for it as bottom price. Sounds good to me, I think I might take him up on it...

Those '06 Black 636's are pretty damn sexy mate, sure you dont want to buy one new? Im not sure youre gonna save much on this one. Youll get two years unlimited warranty and a bike that probably hasnt been thrashed.

The owner has told me that there is some money owing on it, but he will let me take that out of the purchase price and pay it myself. I'll still get a VIR to confirm whats owing, and who to.

That one has been relisted as it didnt sell first time. If it is it has been dropped but best confirm that with the seller.

ahhhhh gotcha, smart boy good on ya.

First service is at 1,000kms, then 6,000kms then every 6,000kms after that.

24,000kms is the biggie - valves, shims etc.. The rest are just oil, filter(s), plugs and a check over

'03/'04 aren't a great road bike in my opinion, but would be nirvana on a track. '05 is a much better road bike, but hasn't got the same edge. '02 will rape the pair of them over rough roads unless really well set up.

I saw that one of Quasi's the other day, had a quick look over it. Looks like it's been extremely well looked after.

I have been talking to Quasi about his bike, unfortunantly it is just outta my price range and I really cant afford to strech any further. Also the fact that the bike is hamilton makes getting it a bit hard (he did say he would meet me somewhere closer but I dont when i'd be able to do it, and my flatmates not too keen on taking me up that far).

I also dont want to tell this guy that I've found something else as he's spent a bit of time getting as much info for me as possible, and I know how annoying it is to put that sorta effort in and have someone turn around and say they've found something else.

I'm pretty sure i'll go for the '04 model.

Well I picked up the 636 this morning, and fuck im rapt! Its such an awesome bike! So smooth & fast...

Ride back over the hill was cold, wet & windy but it was worth it!
