There was an interesting little two paragraph article in the lastest local rag. Apparently the J'ville police are going to be targeting motorcyclists in the area as their next project.

Looks as if there have been complaints from motorists about riders overtaking in what they consider to be a dangerous manner. (Hopefully not me creeping down the outside of the traffic when it's been banked up to the Newlands Park roundabout).

So just be a bit careful over the next few weeks, and keep an eye out for the constabulary. My bet is that they will target the Gorge, Newlands Rd, Burma Rd and perhaps Middleton Rd.

Thanks for the heads up Pwalo. I don't tend to do anything on those roads that would warrant a copper pulling me up, but will make a mental note of it and always remember to take my drivers licence, even if just popping down to the dairy!! :brick: Pays to be weary of them anyway, as apparantly we are all a menace on the roads.

Wha??? Cagers consider motorcyclists to be dangerous full stop! What is their project going to be - Dob in a biker? Preferably use an imaginary offence.

No, not all bikers are safe but why don't they target all road idiots?
