They're the OEM fitment for the ZX10R and the '06 R6. Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to try the tyre out and what they're like compared to others. Read a magazine article that put them above the Michelin Power Pilots.

Some bike mags, have had problems with them on the zx10r, it could be the oem models fitted. since some oem model tires are different to what you can buy.

They are rare to get hold of at moment. NOt to sure if they are even in country to buy yet. and well they are dunlop.

Qualify tires are only good for about 8 laps!! How can these tires possibly be genuine Qualifiers?? Or is it just a name?

Yep, it's Dunlops new sports bike tyre, to quote the website,
"The successor to the D208".

Will be interesting to here how they got on, the new rear tire on the ZX10 is 190/55/17, supposedly to gain the profile of the 180 ie improve turnin, without loosing the contact patch of the 190/50 ?

I don't know ? Whitetrashes brother ,( Kerry Dukie ) had his new zx10 at the track day running it in and the rear was looking real second hand at the end of the day! and that was just creeping around like a nana !!!!! G.:bleh:

Pirelli Pirelli Pirelli Whoops, Sorry for that

It sounds like his suspension is way to soft, often when your spring rate is to soft, the tires will tear up very easy

it will have more side contact patch than a 190/50....maybe not the upright contact patch I'm not sure...
