Our eldest daughter presented us with our first grandchild tonight! A healthy boy, names Aston, middle name not Marton. At 7:45pm in North Shore Hosp. Weighing 7lb 10oz. Man it only seems yesterday I was holding my daughter as our newborn! Mother, baby and Father doing well. Grandmother,
("Shutup!"), "Hee Hee!" a bit tired! Being teased unmercifully by youngest daughter's fiance! Broke out the Champas! :2thumbsup

My dear wifey, (Grandma), has already stocked up on plastic bikes, etc.! Before he was even born, I was dragging her out of toy shops, clothing shops and any other shops related to babies!!!!! He's already one spoiled little tyke! But he is cute!

See I told you grandkids are expensive....

You have already spent a fortune, before he was even born...

The spending doesn't stop... you will spot something when out shopping and go...

"AWWWWWWWWWW Aston will love that........." and you will buy it..

Just remember that you have to spend the same amount on all future grandkids as well....

I can usually resist, it's the wife who is the irresistable one, (!!!!!!!!!!!). Our youngest daughter told her fiance after hearing what our eldest went through giving birth, "We're not having kids, Darling!" LOL!!!!!!!! Our eldest isn't so keen to have another one at the mo, either, but you know how these things work, we still wound up with 3!

Well that's what we keep trying to convince our kids we are, anyway! Sometimes they go along with us to make us feel better...!
