Hey fellow off-road riders.

Riverhead forest this sunday. shall be a great ride. pretty dusty though because that place hasn't seen much rain recently according to Peter Birch who is part of the Waitemata Club running the event. Shall be a great event in the dry a great hoon, don't even bother going in the wet. I shall be their on my CRF.

Yeah im there witha couple of my mates and 1 thems dad. Hope it aint to wet caus my rear tyre is more lik a road slick

Cost of ride?

I'll probably be there now. last chance of a ride for a a month or so.

about 25 bucks a head. Im not going now, I have other commints, so i'm 99.99% sure im not going. But have fun and I would like to now how it goes.

The ride's $35 non wmcc member adults & $30 for member adults.
The loop will be around 30k, with new trails as well as old ones. It's dry as in there, so make sure you bring drinks & goggles. Slicks won't be a problem (for once), dust is going to be the killer. If you really look hard, you might find a bog to play in, but it really is dry.

As for not going if it's wet, nah, just take lots of energy & good tyres.

That ride was awesome! I found some good old muddy bogs and roosted as much mud as I could everywhere.

sore fore arms today though......

My old RM went fucking great too. So tempted to keep it now.....

DAM!!!! What a ride! There was a near vertical downhill!! We had beginner with us and he looked at it and sed F*#k this and did da bypass dam gd hope its in da upcoming enduro

If you enjoyed this trail ride there's a fundraising trail ride for the WMCC six day teams on the 2nd April.. It's the day after the Riverhead enduro and both enduro loops will be open. If you feel like turning up a day early to check out the race on Saturday or are coming from up / down the line feel free to pitch a tent Saturday night.
