I my first look at the crash damage at Colemans this morning. It didn't look as bad as I thought it would, luckily I had only put crash bungs on the morning before it happened. However, on closer inspection things were pretty grim. The front wheel had bashed the radiator, oil cooler and headers, and the rear rim and most of the plastics were fucked. I bought the bike a few months ago for $12500, so obviously not worth fixing. Of course, it's not insured because there's no point - I never crash.
The source of the oil that caused the accident seems to have come from the oil filter (maybe insufficiently tightened?), although Colemans will do further investigation.
The bike was magnificent, the Yoshi adjustable swingarm pivot really did improve the handling and the motor was a monster. The higher compression was really useful on the street because you had more grunt everywhere. The Yoshi cam and chip made it smooth and gave it a screaming top end few could match. They have dyno sheets of this motor making 175hp. So if anyone wants to buy the motor or any other bits that may be salvageable, get in touch.
