IT 175 clutch alloy welding

hey! my mates got an old 1982 IT 175 and hes broken the clutch pressure plate bolt holder where the six bolts go into ones snapped off and it wont give enuf pressure now so what can he do ? weld it ? or anyone got a spare one ? cheers

sorry matey.. but what i would do for you is to come down and just take the sorry thing away.. so that your "mate" wont have the hassel of destroying his bike...

go to the wrecker & nab one off a DT175 their identical

If you pull the clutch basket off, you can sink a screw in from the back of the basket to hod it on. I am assuming you still have the piece that snapped off
