Metallica to open for Rolling Stones...

So. I work with a guy whos girlfriend is in the music industry and she said she has heard a reasonably reliable rumor that Metallica might be opening for the stones in their New Zealand Concerts...

Metallica opened for the stones when they played in San Fransisco and they might be doing it here as well... I hate the way they dont tell you this stuff until after all the tickets are sold!

does anybody else know anything about this???

I couldn't be fudged going to a rolling stoners concert, and Metallica lost my fan-ship when Load came out... so unless it was a free concert, I wouldn't waste my time with that... (don't get me wrong, Metallica used to be a good band, but all good things must come to an end, with motorbikes excluded, Metallica just hasn't realised their impending doom... go out with a bang, don't Fade To Black, oh what a pun...) sorry if I offend any current new-school Metallica fans

9 or 10... I had my guitar for about 2 weeks (about grade 4/1992), and my cousin (who played bass guitar in a metal band), taught me how to play enter sandman, and then I started listening to a whole bunch of other bands like Nirvana, some others, but I can't remember them right now...

I'm sorry but even the opurtunity to see Metallica live again could not convince me to go to a stones concert. Only reason the stones are even having a tour is cause they have nothing better to do with the rest of thier lives. Probably hopeing to die while having sex with groupies.
