All the K-1 crowd are totally gay anyway, tuned in one night expecting to see some decent kick-boxing action and within 10 minutes (lasted that long hoping it'd get better) turned it off and deemed it to be "KY Kickboxing" - they all looked like they needed a bit of lube and some privacy for the fagging around they were doing.

Not a one would last a round against a pro boxer - sure, they're allowed to kick and the boxing rules don't allow it but it wouldn't make any difference - the boxer would've turned out their lights before they could get a foot off the floor.

Botha, ex-heavy weight champion of the world or whatever, who went over to K1, and got made a mockery of by Ray Sefo last weekend at Waitakere Stadium...Sefo lasted the full 9 minutes and spent half the fight with his arms around his waist (as usual), and dodging everything Botha could throw.

Maybe try watching more than 10 mins next time :niceone:

Could've been a bad fight you got...which K1 were you watching? There's some well qualified psychos amongst the K1 fighters.

Watch the final in Japan, or even the qualifiers along the way and you're bound to see some really good fighters (though some of the 'superfights' have quite average fighters who are more interesting than good, like the 250kg or so ex-Sumo world champ who was trying his hand at kick-boxing, and got k.o'd by the champ at the time...kinda sad).

Boxing vs. kick boxing vs. Bruce Lee, etc....all questions that will mostly remain unanswered, except in Tekken.
