Well, prompted by the occassional email, I finally got off my ass and stuck my copy of the rg150 manual on the net. It's a beast, weighing in at 150mb, but I've split it up into chapters.
I've used a system called RapidShare. Go to each link, and first click on FREE, then wait 30 or 40sec (it counts down) then enter the 3-letter security code, then click SAVE when a dialog window pops up. Should be a piece of piss. Rapidshare have the right to delete it anytime I suppose, so get it while its hot.

Sweet, thanks I'll be grabbing that for sure. Just got an RG150 last week, pretty impressed so far, although its done a heck of a lot of KMs for what I paid. Time to check the powervalves I think :)
*edit* agh! the first half of the files aren't on rapidshare anymore due to inactivity, can someone *please* re-upload them or PM me for another method of sending either over the net or by CD etc. :)

If someone can mail it to zack at penguinspeed dot com, I can host it because I've got a Terabyte of transfer. Plus I would also love to have the manual for my newly acquired rg150

I've tried this link and downloaded some parts of it, but cos they're an .rar format i had to download a decoder also, which, basically, was crap and didnt work, but it was the only free one I could find, and i'm none to keen to pay for one haha

You don't have to buy it, just click download. Its like winzip it will work forever, just have a small message, when opening what you click close on. Never expires.

Hi, trying to help a friend get his rg150 running well.
Just wondering if you know the carb settings, float height, main jet size, needle position, etc
Bike idles beautiful but on throttle opening is definitely starving for gas as when I cover carb throats it starts to run really sweet, it's like when I'm choking it by hand it reeves really well but remove hand from carb mouth and it dies, jets all clean, needle set 1 notch below centre. Float height might be the biggest factor like it doesn't have enough fuel unless I manually choke it, thanks for any help really appreciated.

You are kinda in the wrong thread, but I'll make a start.
Forget about float height. On a typical 2 stroke carb as long as it doesnt leak on the sidestand or run out of gas on a steep uphill it is fine. Jetting is by throttle position and not revs. Write that down somewhere.
But what concerns me it that the carb mouth is covered by the airbox. If you have removed it, replacement will bring you the quickest path to proper running with stock jetting.
If I have read that wrong, you could be looking at an air leak. An unlit gas torch or ether start spray on a running engine could find that. Reedblocks are prime suspect as might be the long tube sticking onto the RG block.
Jets all clean. But. Have you removed the emulsion tube and blown through holes from bellmouth to tube area?
