After a few (read that a lot) of years away from road racing I've got the bug back.
If I stick to club level racing I'm thinking I could possibly afford to race over winter maybee even into the summer series.
My problem is I wouldn't have a clue what class to race in or what size bike.
Money is definitely a big issue so advise would be greatly apreciated.
I wondered if the two smoke 250's were still competative in F3
or if maybee a 4 stroke 400 4 would be better.
Suggestions as to where I can find a set of used race leathers would be great too

Damn 2 bikes to chose from....... you can also chose from a SV650 as they are in the F3 class, (although alot of people say it shouldnt be....)

Unless you race with VicClub at manfield in which case they are F2 (or clubmans)

It's a Suzuki engine inside the Hyosung with reportedly more horsepower but overall weight is heavier than the SV...Road & Sport have them in Hamilton, and BikePoint in Aussie did a side by side raod test recently.

Latest Motorcycle Trader and News has a test on them (there's one on the cover) I don't know what it says yet, I haven't read it as I've been glued to the page that says I'm an "organising maestro".......

It isn't a Suzuki engine, it's built in house by Hyosung.
