Gidday! Well I'm another newbie who's chosen the path of bike :P 24 years old in Auckland, currently looking for a 250cc to learn on, this forum is great! I'll no doubt be asking a lot around here, specifically how to not die ;P
But yeah, hi !

Welcome - Don't for get the 2-stroke 150cc bikes are almost as fast as the 4-stroke 250cc bikes and can be as much fun if not more in the twisties.

Welcome to KB. Have you had much to do with bikes at all? I've found KB to be a great community of people who share a common passion, motorcycling. Make sure you keep an eye out for events and get yourself along to them and meet some of us. If your ever in Northland stop in for a coffee, chat, and maybe we could through you on the back for a bit of a squirt.:Punk:

Well I grew up around various bikes.. My parents used to have a bach in a little place called Kawhia, we had 2 3wheeler bikes for tearing up and down the beach on.. apart from that I've just watched my old man go from one bike to another (as well as watching the cc's go up :P), but personally I havent had any experience with 2 wheeler sport/tours apart from riding on the back of my old mans bike.
I'm amazed by how welcoming people are on these boards! It's great, when I get my confidence up on my new bike, whatever it'll be I'll be sure to check out events!
Thanks again for the welcomes guys
