Hey
With this bike it says its running rich and missing occasionally.Can this be fixed ,what is the problem.

It sounds like it just needs a proper tune.Starting with cleaning the carbs.
They are a pretty neat bike.

If you dont have lots of tools, and a good manual, get it serviced at a shop. Also, this bike looks like it has been crashed. New front wheel - different to the rear, and the right hand pipe looks maybe badly scratched. These bikes are good, but it is cheap, so I would be wary... I guess the reserve is about $1500.... check it out, but dont buy this one sight unseen!

Get the owner to get a bike shop to perform a pre purchase check on it.

These things can be a can of worms and a '91 engine will not run well in an earlier bike unless the ignition and wiring loom has been changed.

'91 onwards had a 3 stage power valve system, earlier had only 2 stage, hence the incompatibility.

My brother just picked up an '89 RGV250 needing a little work for $200.
