I think $195 for the Suzuki back tyre but I got one at Cycletreads for $119. Bigger tyre and a whole lot more stable. That was about 15 months back.

I recently bought a "ContiCity" rear tyre for about $100 plus another $50 to get it fitted. I have no idea about the front tyre as even after 12000 km mine still looks like new.

I paid $150 for a Pirelli MT75 on the rear. Excellent tyre. I've had a lot less "scary" moments since I got it. Still got the original on the front though

I got set of MT75's + fitted for around $270

great tyres once they are warm. Wouldn't get anything lesser, tyre quality has such an impact on a bikes handling that the extra $60 is well worth it.

I guess it must be a tricky job on a FXR and take an hour? $50 an hour seems fair?

Pit lane motorcycles is Cycletreads down here offer free fitting on the tires though you must consider that.
