Was absolutely mint condition until I stupidly dropped it on it's side. Was a very slow drop so slight scratches on can and some on right hand fairing.

I can thoroughly reccomend this bike to anyone - I had one exactly the same - my second bike. Excellent allrounder.
Does this one have a stiff clutch? I found it very hard on my hand - it was just so stiff. :not:

Yeah, I think the clutch is a bit stiff too but like you said, it's an excellent all rounder kind of bike.

I actually ride down the gorge in the same direction as you every morning from Tawa but I'm usualy on my cbr600f2. :scooter:

How does this machine compare with the CBRf?
The grips look a litttle higher than most sprorts bikes.

Yeah, the handlebar is higher than the cbr. It is classed as a sports tourer. The Katana is suppose to be more comfortable for long rides as compared to the race posture of the cbr. It is generally an all rounder.
