Might not hurt to get some practise on a bigger bike that's a little cheaper too

I owned one of these, and I LOVED it.

Might be a bit brutal moving from 150 to 1000 though.

These are fun too, although I have not owned one, just ridden a few. Handle very very well.

Or a lovely wee H2, in the brutal colour scheme of green.

Actually, on the topic of the H2's, was it just me, or did they feel heavy on the front end?.

Heh, can't be any more brutal than the RG400 he had... those things have a pretty aggressive powerband

Sorry sir, I was trying to suggest motorcycles with some modicum of civility to them, that are not like a wild boar with a thorn in it's bottom.

Hey sniper, you pm'ed me about my 7... are you looking at a P series??

The different models, say the H to the P did differ in handling etc... I have the P series, just make sure you have the right models eh??

Sniper
18th March 2006, 22:28
I do Gremlin, but thanks for checking anyway. :D

Excellent... was a little worried there :sweatdrop:

As I said, if you need more info, ask. I have been having fun finding out more and more. Only thing you will find, is that for the P series, a lot of the data is from when the bike was one of the "it" bikes back in 2000-ish.

Typical with most bikes I suppose.

Also, the zx7r or zx7rr?? have you thought about that??

i chose it because i found one at the right price at the right time, with some tasty bits on it. For the price that they are going for (the earlier ones) you probably wont get a better deal. They sell for the same price as the SRAD Gixxer yet have 10hp extra, the only drawback i found when i got it was that it has "understeer" if you give it power through a corner, this was quickly fixed by setting the suspension up properly.

Does wheelies very easily, looks the part (if not the best looking 600 of the time), and with a nice aftermarket pipe it would have to be one of the best sounding 600's i've seen.

why is sniper choosing it? Well he regretted having his CBR after seeing how much fun the ZXR crew in auckland has been having, and seeing that i've continued the excitement on the R6 he thought "what the fuck, i have to be cool some day..."

Lol at Gareth. Nah, the reason I want a R6 is that I think they are great bikes and Ive always wanted one.

Now, serious question, should I go for a GSXR750 Slingshot or a gsxr400?
