Thanks (belatedly) for the birthday wishes. It's true alas that I haven't been out on the bike as much as I would like. I still ride the Honda every day to varsity but the XJR hasn't seen much action recently. Too busy with the house (spent much of my birthday up on a ladder gib-stopping a ceiling - and it was the Cambridge Toy run as well - first one I've missed for years). At least some progress is being made on the house.
To Dave, Erik, Sudeep, Devil and my other good friends and riding companions: don't write me off just yet. The work on the house will stop soon when the money runs out, so it will be back to weekends in the saddle...
