Well I haven't paid for it yet but I just closed the deal with hsvboy06 and I'm buying his old FXR!

I heard that some people have been sucessful fitting larger mirrors on the fxr, can anyone give me suggestions on which ones I should try and where I can get them?

Thanks!

Congrats Bob!!:woohoo: Yeah, the FXR mirrors are shocking aye, I mean they are great if you want to see what's on your shoulder or your elbow, but not much chop for seeing anything behind you! Good plan to change them, sorry, can't be any help on that front though! Good luck.

i think the gsxr mirrors fit? double check it though. goto www.fxr150.ws.net.nz, got some stuff on the fixer, do up tips etc. search kiwibiker for threads as well, i've heard a few good ones for getting a bit of extra power, like carbs from an xr200? something like that. Oh, and chopping off the dead weight of an exhaust.

On yer mate, entertaining bike! Good rubber (bridgies or Pirelli'll do it) and you'll be real hard to catch on the twisties.

jeremysprite, when you said "dead weight" did you mean "baffle"???

Now only if I could find out how to go about chopping off the baffle... Is it hard?
