While I wait for the dryer to do it's thing, I think I should give a bit of a thanks.

Join the Honda Riders Club (http://www.honda-motorcycles.co.nz/Club_Honda_Rescue.htm) for a pittance of money you get a flatdeck when you need it. And I needed it; breakdown report (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=26527"). Big thanks to Wayne from Waipa towing in Te Awamutu who was very friendly and helpful. 0800 869 869

And big thanks to Quasi (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/member.php?u=309), GixerBoy (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/member.php?u=1881) and Dss3 (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/member.php?u=574) who let me so rudely interrupt their lives with my broken Honda of doom.

Best I can do for them now is put in a plug or two.

You might know that Quasi sells bike gear. I got some leather pants of him, and a back protector. They are damn fine value for money. I am wearing the pants right now, several hours after I got off the bike because they are actually quite comfortable. And I have no clean clothes. Hence the dryer.

You may not know GixerBoy is trying his hand at making some bolt ons for your your bike. He showed me a hugger he had made for his GSXR1000K4, which looked like it would do the trick quite nicely on YOUR k4. But most impressive of all were some carbon fibre mufflers he has been toying with. The prices he mentioned were pretty damn sharp. And the mufflers themselves had very a unique look. A sorta cone in a cone end cap.. Hard to explain, but it looked cool. I'm gonna get one to put on the Honda of doom. Then it will sound like V4 doom is coming around the corner instead of "Listen mummy! A sewing machine". In my experience if it sounds like it will make children cry and annoy your mum, it's a good 'un.

And Dss3, well, ahh.. I'd plug, but I don't know what to plug. So just plain old thanks!! I stole a splash of your gas, so.. Umm.. If I ever see you again, a fill up on me.

Oh yeah, and spanners, bed, beer, whatever if you are ever in Wellington.

In a "hamsters caught on a giant merry-go-round being turned by mutant bananas" kind of way.

I renewed my sub this year and I'm pleased to hear it worked for you.

You also get access to rider training, a parts discount at Honda dealers, and hopefully the HRCNZ are organising a group to travel to the Moto GP round at Phillip Island later in the year. Not bad for $35.00 or whatever it was...

Apparently the USDs don't fit, and the 18" works better on the track.. So you are lucky you didn't steal the bits :-) .
