I've seen a runout 2004 Husqvarna TE250 for sale, brand new with full warranty for sale, does anybody know what these are like? I don't want to buy a lemon and was wondering why they haven't sold? I currently ride a 97 KDX200 and want to upgrade to something newer. Any advise would be greatly appreciated

You can buy a brand new RMZ250 06 model for $8495...... I'd get that over the husky any day.

Yea, fine if you work in a Husky shop, seems to be where they spend most of their time:killingme

Yeah RMZ sounds like a good option, I was only keen on the Husky because of the price, brand new 2004 runout model for $8K, having only ever riden 2 strokes before i was wondering is there a problem with 4 stroke motorcross bikes stalling when trail riding? I know that with 2 strokes this was remedied by a heavy fly wheel.

I would just get the purpose built trail bike. as it can be a bit of a pain on the trail with an MX bike.

Unless you want to do enduro/trail riding type stuff.

Unless you want to do enduro
Sean Clarke seems to do OK on his RM-Z250, I think he's won an enduro or two.

I mean in that you have to do so much work to make it road legal/enduro ready compared to the Husky.

RM-250Z? According to MNZ Sean got 2nd overall 2006 National Enduro Series in Expert 2stroke over.

I friend of mine used to have one. According to him it was a really good bike. It was a shame that it dropped a valve though

RM-250Z?
It was a typo. Not a bad result for an MX bike on the trails though, eh?

Like Shane King on his CRF450.

But some riders will do it on any bike.

Even a CRF230 :D

My brother cross countrys an RM125.

Mikeal Lundin won a GNCC round on one. I ride them and they are reliable and awsome

It'd go even better if they kept the XR name on it :shifty:

CRF sounds faster! and the CRF230 is a better bike then the old XR's. but they were great. the XR650 is still the king of the sand in my opinion that will never change.
