Thought I'd remind the locals that the Le race (-Cycling race) is on from ChCh to Akaroa this Saturday morning. (25th March)
It'll be extra busy to ride that way with lots of cyclist, support crews and police.

Good point! Yeah I think the best bet for those planning an Akaroa GP would be to leave it till Sunday.
