Nice pics, but why a 'Micron' sticker with a Yoshimura pipe?

get a tripod, or something to lean it on. If you can play with the settings, then you need to extend the shutter speed (slow it down), and play with the other settings.. Then you start to get more detail. And switch the lights off if you're shooting head on. The camera can't distinguish between the headlights being bright white, and the back ground being dark or black as the pics with show..

longer shutter speeds allow you to get stuff like this..
love doin those shots..

Rangitoto at the dead of night..

Any tripod is fine, just have to be creative. And if you don't have a remote for the camera (I do, but I'd loose it if I took it out with me), then set the timer to go off. Then you've pressed the button and wobbled the camera, and by the time the timer is set, the camera should have stopped..

My attempt at something similar.. from the back of our gaff!

I never thought of using the timer.. nice one! This has inspired me to go play some more

LOL - yeah, I've done a bit of experimenting with the camera and the missus by the Tom Parker fountain at night. I quite like the look of the pics, but we did over expose a little in one of them for sure.

Isn't it amazing how calming looking through a lense and clicking a shutter can be? Well done.

Very Nice.

Co-pilot is the master of hanging off the bike like a side car swinger to get the shot - she's had heaps published and built quite a reputation.

About all i can see that your've done wrong there with those photos Boomer is you forgot to set the 'whitebalance' on your camera. there is a little bit of movement with the wind in the photo but nothing to brag about.
