While most people with her family ties would avoid the spotlight, Wafour Dufour - a niece of Osama bin Laden - is desperate to be in it.
Dufour, who posed for a sexy spread in January's GQ magazine, is now using the family name to shop a reality TV series to the networks about her desperate attempt to become a pop star.
Relatives of those killed in the Sept 11 attacks are fuming and some have vowed to boycott or protest at any network or channel that puts her on the air.
"If it's something that a network picks up then reality TV has definitely hit a new low," said Christie Coombs, an Abington mother whose husband, Jeffrey, was killed in the attacks.
"She's trying to make money off the family name. She has a lot of nerve," added Anne Macfarlane, whose daughter, Marianne, was killed on Sept 11, 2001.
Dufour, 26, has said she has nothing to do with her infamous uncle and has never met him. But she boasts that she's bin Laden's niece in the first paragraph of a press release announcing that she's signed a deal with Reganmedia to do a reality TV show.
Dufour, who was born in California, is the daughter of bin Laden's half brother.

I say shoot the bitch. Help flush him out... :motu:
