they were complaining the dollar was too high a few months back.. ffs..

one thing you can count on, is no matter how high petrol and all things related to petrol (so everything) get with inflation, you won't have to worry about being called to the bosses office for that pay rise to reflect it

No price rises at AMPS yet. Just the opposite - big sale soon.

What "competition"? The Hardleys are bigger and have more torque than anyhting Deere and Ferguson produce!

Or were you thinking in terms of top speed? Coz you're probably right, in that respect...

You are obviously referring to farmers.

It rains = "It's a flood - give us money"
The sun comes out = "It's a drought - give us money"
The dollar goes up = "We can't compete - give us money"
The dollar drops "The country OWES US - give us more money"

:done:

Looks like I got my HD order in just in time! :banana:
BTW you can put me up against a Massey Fergusson on Manfield whenever you like. Give me just ten laps and I wager that I can beat it by at least 5 seconds, and all without sounding like an angry mosquito with a harmonica up it arse.
And I'll thoroughly enjoy every hour of it. :finger:

Just remember what the track will look like when you prepare to lap the Massey... LOTS of ploughed bits in the track from the ploughing implements at the arse end of the tractor!!!:crazy:

And remember that the farmer is the only one who buys everything at retail;
sells everything at wholesale;
and pays the freight both ways.

That's cool, it should help me to control the wallowing if I'm stuck in a furrow.

Anyways it can't be any worse than what happens to the track when they race those stoopid effing trucks.

its doesn't mean bike prices will rise acctually....it depends totally on the currency hedging policies the importers have...if they were clever they would have hedged 2-3 yrs ahead [maybe more]...but we'll soon see how smart they are or how greedy they are...they could just put prices up and blame the dollar and pocket bonus cash from the dollar difference due to smart hedging....or stay compeditive in a market that will dwindle more as the economy slows more and more.

Well it does make sence that anything inported wil rise as the dollar drops, Im pretty sure that its going to happen........ But im no economist so dont trust my words, lol.
