2006 FZ 1 Yamaha

Has anyone seen the new Yamaha FZ 1. If not go to /www.motorcycledaily.com/. Read the first test on this latest offering. I quite like FZ !s and this one sounds better than the last one. One thing though that bugs me, the muffler Sheeeite it looks like a grenade launcher off one of those things the Army runs round in. First the Gsxr 1000 then the ER 6 the M90 now this. Some bastards trying to ugly up the world. Thank someone for aftermarket parts. :mega:

The rear wheel looks a little bit lonely but aside from that it actually gave me a bit of a woody.

PB say "... there's little reason to fork out £7000 for the naked FZ1, it's inferior to it's competitors in every way... blah blah.. get a speed triple or a Z1000.. old bike better but ugly.. new bike cool looking but crap..."

Yeeeaaahhh, it looks good, but I've read a few things about it and they all complain about the fuelling, the gearing ... the drivetrain in general. Oh, and the brakes. In this day and age where there are dozens of new bikes with literally nothing wrong with them I can't see why you'd want to get involved.

The naked one looks great though :)
