Sick of my PS2 titles. My Moto GP is a few years old now and I'm grand tourismo 3'd out.

Whats a good motorcycle simulation?

Sorry, but imo Crescent Suzuki sucked, and I'm a die hard Suzuki fanatic. What is the shit however is Isle of Man TT, absolutely fantastic game. Another choice is Riding Spirits II, a reasonable road-based bike simulator. Handling is different to your average bike game, but if you hang in you can have some decent battles.

'Superbikes TT' is THE best motorcycle game I have EVER played!!

I do have Moto GP4 btw and the Superbikes TT is in a league of it's own... It's the next best thing to thrashing bikes in real life. :2thumbsup

My sons have a PS2, with GT4 and a stack of other games. They're trying to con me into getting some bike games, so they don't have to pay for them, but unfortunately for them I don't like games (PC, PS2 Nintendo, cards, board games), so they're out of luck. I like watching them play though - the GT4 is really good. Trouble is, they make it look so easy, and the one time I tried, I sucked big time. Found the easiest thing to do was choose a rally course. and automatic hopped-up Range Rover, and just drive the thing on full throttle. It was so big and umb and slow, that I managed to keep it going in the right general direction most of the time. On the track I spent most of my time doing (involuntary) donuts.

Big time-waster.
I'd rather do the real thing than pretend to do it with a hunk of plastic...

And I generally don't watch TV - so ps2 fills numb time.

Officially it is due out in May in the UK. Not sure how long till we get it here, but shouldn't be too long. Im wondering if they will release it with the PS3 as well?

Tourist trophy should be the best yet, at least for PS2. Can even customize how the rider hangs off the bike to make it look like your style of riding. Good selection of bikes and gear. Lots of tracks too.

If you played GT4 (same people made this game) then you will know about the photo modes, so those pics are lower res. Can take pics from certain replays. They also put in a rider view that shows the 'on board view' of guages etc.

I think thats a nc30 but yeah not perfect.

i havent tried that tt superbikes but i just got mot gp4 and i love it, altough it could be better in the graphics department. its bloody fun power sliding around on a ducati gp4 race bike or a yzm-r1 or my favourite rc211v repsol:love: and you can race in the wet, and on 125s and 250s.... the rs250 rsr/rsw race bikes can top out at 29* on some tracks which is probably bullshit. if you want a good cage game get gt4, it took me ages to clock that and i still have fun playing it. what really pissed me off is i spent ages getting golds in the liscences only to get crap cars, im sure some people love ford model t tourers......... 80 FUCKING YEARS AGO! :Punk: good game though

(GT4) the one time I tried, I sucked big time. Found the easiest thing to do was choose a rally course.
The problem with the GT games is that they've got progressively harder as time has done on. Better, sure, make no mistake but that GT4 basically assumes you're halfway good at GT3.

However, GT4 "Prologue" ... which means "demo that you bitches can pay for" ... has an excellent tutorial mode. You're welcome to borrow mine (PM me).

GT4 has some advantages over real life, primarily in the areas of not needing to actually go to the Nurburgring, not needing to pay for the cars, and not going to hospital when you crash. You can also do it drunk.

That being said I'd still rather do 100km/hr on a real bike than 300km/hr on a virtual car. By a long way.

forza? pffft ive played that and i dont see the big deal [except you can buy porsches] the handling isnt as realistic as gt4, and the graphics dont look as real:( the reflections are shit and the wheels of some cars come through the body work if the car is lowered too much, and the last game that i saw do that was gt2.... forza isnt mauch better than gt3 for realistic handling:psst:

I bought a limited edition MotoGP Tissot watch last year in Japan, came with a collectors case in the shape of a rear tyre and rim. Inside is a place to store the watch (yeah right, it's always on my wrist) and medals from every track engraved. Very cool, but it also included a booklet with facts on the MotoGP and I'm sure it shows the 250 speeds approaching 300. I'll check tonight.

75hp for a 250GP bike???? I think not, you'll get that from a well tuned RGV250 road bike, although not for long probably! Not sure what power they are making, but you can be assured it's more than 75hp.

In my opinion for such a old game, Riding Spirits 2 is wicked, kind of like GT games but bikes. Real good graphics for age too. Played the Moto GP games, didnt really do it for me though.

All the old school 500cc 2 strokes can be unlocked from doohans nsr to and schwantz's suzuki. Yeah baby!!
