that slower than my Enfield :bs: ,,But no the real pro stocks are AWESOME .
They Hold the bike on the limit... a second before the lights turn , then feed the clutch to the wolves ( looks like they just dump it ....)
Here in Japan they are around 6 seconds ,,,there was some straming vid floating around the web a while back ....friggen awesome

:gob: Wow thats fast. Sounds great too. What do they mean by tie downs on the rear suspention? Is that to compress the spring or something?
bugjuice
30th March 2006, 14:43
to quote loose bruce:
the front is off the ground but still nearly fully compressed, same with the rear, they strap a bike down, they refer to slamming the bike, cheap way is to use tie downs.
This lengthens the wheelbase, thus making it harder to wheelie, and the lack of suspension travel helps towrds the launch and traction and also less wheelie prone, like i said a stock straight off the showroom ZX636R ran a 9.89, no mods other than slamming it.

Okay, so I might get used to the damn ugly styling in time. The 14 is now on my wish-list above a ZX-12R. Looks kina huge though don't it??

AAwww mate,
Your bike looks bloody nice and it goes well to. Quick enough for just about everything you want it for. Now if it's wheelies you're after at higher speeds, just drop a tooth on the front cog eh? :)

From the reviews, it's actually lighter and better handling than the ZX12R.
Be pretty keen on getting my sticky feelers on one too. :)

Yes well.... when do I get mine, its ordered in Black, has my name on it, but they havent even left Japan yet so in for a longer wait than expected, originally it was to be here early March, well it aint, then it was early April, but it aint going to be so I wait and I wait and you fuckers tease me with cool shite like that.
I can wait but will have to, though its neat having something like that to look forward to eh.
Would you believe its only ever so slightly heavier than a VFR800 ? and yes lighter than the 12 and beeter handling , should be great.
Styling well I like it, they could loose the george foreman grill on the side but they needed it for aero dynamices so Im cool with that, from the front and rear its absolutely awesome in style. will be excellent for what we want it for. Mrs Quasi cant wait either.
Dragging mmmmmmm maybe will have to open her up but other Videos I have seen makes me think it would shred a tyre in a week if I get into that shite.
you will all know when I get it though, will have to have a christening ride somewhere and you can all take her for a spin !! (read the fine print)

put that into perspective.
DOCILE, a 970kg 4WD mitsi evo drag prepped car with 1100hp at the wheels is averaging those times.

How much did that HP cost and can you use it on the road?

Probably 50 times as much as a "Stock" ZX-14 and not road legal.
Try a stock evo against a stock ZX14....hahahaha that would be so funny to watch.

Amazing shit! Need some mean skills to launch like that. Joe blogs would be mid 10's on that setup I'd say.
Still ain't going to get touched by pretty much anything road legal unless you count your mates brothers cousins vtec nismo mugen GT-R integra which runs 7 seconds all day long....
