Out of interest, what did you get, and did you get a 180 or 190 for the rear (and is it the same, or a change)??

Just about to swap out the 014s for some metzler z6's as I wore the middle out of the 014s... from err.... well.... over-enthusiastic rolling away from lights :slap:

I thought that was because you are a nana and you commute on it everyday?

i changed the front. 120 70 17 (i think)
the rear is currently 180... would a 190 fit?

the tyre on the back is still got lots of tread. its a 218Dunlop.

i put a 208f RR dunlop on the front. so far so good.

if your rims are stock, then yes. I'm pretty sure the zx7r was a 190 rear stock, but you could drop it to 180.

A 180 would make the bike more nimble, and increased lean angles, but at medium lean, the 190 has more contact with the road. I doubt I'm fast enough to actually need the extra curve of a 180, although getting to the edge on the 190 isn't hard.

Rayza, yes, commuting. But lots of that involves splitting to the front, and as I get there it goes green. We suspect the bike is a little out of tune, so of course it pulls better if you give it a little gas
