It would seem that there is interst in another KB first aid evening:hitcher:
First off lets be clear, this is NOT a certificated First Aid Course !
That would take too long, two weekend days, or a lot of evenings.
If you get the chance to do a St Johns or Red Cross First aid course
I would recomend you do it(even better if your work pays for it)
Our instructors are all professional emergency service workers,
who give up there time to help teach some basics for you.
They are mostly all shift workers, so it is normally a bit of a juggling act
to get them all there on the same night.
What we offer is some basic scene safety and trauma mangment a wee tad of
CPR refresher, hopefully clear up a few myths behind helmet removal (when & How to remove) plus discuss what to carry in a first aid kit, and what shit is a waste of time, and finally a time for Questions & Answers..
I have not asked the other instructors yet, but am pretty sure they can be convinced to help out again.
The course normally takes about 2-3 hours. The venue will be advised, normally this will be based on were the majority of people coming to the course live.
We have held a course out WEST, and the last one was on the Shore.
I would imagine it won,t happen before May, what I am after is an indication of how many would be intersted, and what part of the earth you live in.
Normally we are looking for about 10-15 max
Now, don't fuckin ring me, txt me, or pm me.:slap: If you feel the need to ask any questions, Please do it here. One of us will answer it.
Just indicate here if you up for it.
