well, i decided to get some work done on the bros650 today. so i had a go at the subframe which aparently could not be straightened by one mechanic, the other mechanic said itd cost $400:mad:
well screw that.
so i bolted the subframe onto the bike, and took all the other stuff off [batterey and all that plastic and the scottoiler] and looked at it for a minute.
then i had an idea, if i got a steel pole or bar and inserted it acrossways and pushed down, it would bend the frame back to its original shape.....
so i did just that!!!
and it worked, so a big brown eye to those mechanics who fucked me around with a job that i did in two friggin minutes:blink: .... sad isnt it?
so tommorow me and the old man are going to take the forks off and he'll take the to work and straighten them by using a press. what he will do is use two peices of 90* section steel ["L" shape] and put the fork tube in them and run it through the press. i think.
further updates and pics will be posted.
i get my vt250 spada on tuesday yay:hug: :wari:
