well, i decided to get some work done on the bros650 today. so i had a go at the subframe which aparently could not be straightened by one mechanic, the other mechanic said itd cost $400:mad:

well screw that.

so i bolted the subframe onto the bike, and took all the other stuff off [batterey and all that plastic and the scottoiler] and looked at it for a minute.
then i had an idea, if i got a steel pole or bar and inserted it acrossways and pushed down, it would bend the frame back to its original shape.....

so i did just that!!!

and it worked, so a big brown eye to those mechanics who fucked me around with a job that i did in two friggin minutes:blink: .... sad isnt it?

so tommorow me and the old man are going to take the forks off and he'll take the to work and straighten them by using a press. what he will do is use two peices of 90* section steel ["L" shape] and put the fork tube in them and run it through the press. i think.

further updates and pics will be posted.

i get my vt250 spada on tuesday yay:hug: :wari:

It's called "angle", he'll go for equal angle probably.

"Can I get a length of 50x50x3 angle, and some sauce."

Good shizzle with the no.8 wire styles though, as long as it goes who gives a rats I say.

Just dawned on me that I have the word jandal 3 times around every post I do now.

It's too much for any one man to bear.

took the forks off today and both legs are bent, so i'll fix them [well my dad will]:yeah:

im going to spray the subframe black some time.

i made some brackets for my custom made [rangi actually] speedo housing, so thats all fixed and working i hope.

:third: i removed the radiator as it has a bend in it but none of the tubes seem bent or kiked so i'll use extreme caution in trying to re bend that.:apumpin:

im planing on stripping the forks tommorow, is there anything i need to know before i take it all apart?

and i need to get a new brake hose on the front and some valve emulators, but they can wait :second:
