Beware Wellingtonians - I have added a FA50 to the fleet.

It's red, and fully featured. It has a carrier and a basket. It may even go, I need to install a new plug and battery first. (Then Nitrous)

I'm a little concerned at the sticker saying "this is designed for one rider with a maximum weight of 70kg"

So when are ya gonna take it over the Rimutakas? At least I wouldn't be the slowest then! :blah:

I had one of those - and used to maintain a rental fleet of about 30 of the fuckers...can I borrow it for a while? my Pajero needs some exercise, after that I will cut it into small pieces with my gas axe and incinerate everything - I will return the ashes in a suitable container.

Beware of mason bees - they love that tail pipe.

Don't piss about with Nitrous, Bungbung. Whack a supercharged CBX1000 engine in. Bet ya no-one else would have one the same... :sly:

Yeah, also GP100s,ER185s,10 speeds,BMXs,cars,4x4s,vans,Hobbie Cats, kayaks, surfskis, dingies, outboards,a hire yard and I used to pick up and deliver drycleaning - on the side I had my own motorcycle and small engine repair buisness.I kinda miss that stress free lifestyle.

You must have had to deal with some real cases though. I got the privelidge of an sj50 as I was 'experienced'. I had to take it back and swap it it was so bent and buckled. Scooters arent supposed to tank slap are they?

...I'm a little concerned at the sticker saying "this is designed for one rider with a maximum weight of 70kg"That's cos in Asia a whole family of 5 (equalling -70kgs in weight) are transported around on those things :thud:

Overloading was the biggest problem - I used to put in new spokes without taking the wheel out or tyre off.

Well, after mucking about in the shed last weekend, she's a runner.

Who has fa50 parts knocking about?

I need a rear brake cable, footpegs and possibly a new carb.

the power doesn't seem to be overwhelming....

I don't think it would be fair on everybody else, not braggin or anything but I saw 40km/h going down my street and almost 20km/h going up.

But you can do power wheelstand U turns,or just sit at the lights with the front wheel in the air, holding it on the clutch. These things are fun,you just got to know where to find it.I never laugh at any bike.

I'd put a RM80 motor and gearbox with a Moto X race pipe in it.

I never laugh at any bike.

yer... but it IS a step through so technically, you could laugh at it. definitely potential for CBD tomfoolery on a two wheeler like that tho! (still reckon a street magic is ideal for downtown antics)
