Late notice I know, but if anyone is after a ride tomorrow, RT527 is coming to Wellington tonight to pick up his CBR600 tomorrow morning, and then ride back to Ngatea.

We're going to go up to Levin, through Shannon out the back of Palmy, and then through Ashurst, Kimbolton, and then out to SH1 either at Ohingaiti or Mangaweka.

I'll probably go on to Taupo and then come back to Welly, depending on weather, baboon butt, and fear of dying in a ditch in the dark. I might turn around at Waiouru. Who knows! :)

Anyway 10-10:15am at the Mana BP sounds like a go.

Look for the short fat guy on the Pumpkin Express and the tall fat guy on the mostly white (red and blue too) CBR600.

We're heading up to Palmy tomorrow too but via the Wairarapa cause it's funner and cause the weather's coming in from the west evidently. Give me a text if you want to meet up on the way back but I don't think we'll be as late as you'll be.

Roger!

Looks like we'll be postponing departure until Sunday anyway, so we may see if we can join you tomorrow.

I'll text a couple of times and see if we can figure out where you are.

Look out for us in the white whale on sunday. We will be coming back from a wedding over that way and will be slightly the worse for wear (I hope)

Postponing til Sun? I thought that was the original plan. Did you go in the end? We did and got some pretty full-on bursts of rain up near Pahiatua.

"Postponed until Sunday"

We're leaving in about 30 minutes.

Rain is a bit easier to face for a noob than gales.

Yep, we were off to get the CBR.

I left RT527 in Woodville, after a WAirarapa tour in the rain.

It then absolutely poured down on the way back, but now it is sunny. Go figure.

By God, didn't it p... down - lucky for us, we chose to take the cage to the Wairarapa for the w/e - much drier!
