Had my Nolan for 8yrs so figure coming up time to replace it and being a speccy wearer quite like the idea of the flip front helmets. The Nolan N101 would be my 1st choice but theres also the M2R 901, Suomy Tre and FFM K3. Opinions please anyone whose got any of these. I know its a bit of a personal preference but it will give me an idea.

I wear specs, too. I've recently had a look at both the Nolan N101 and the flip-front Shoei Syncrotech 2 in Motomail up here. They're around the same price, maybe $50 difference from memory. The Shoei would be my preference. No real reason apart from it 'felt' better on my head when I tried it on. Might be another one for you to consider.

Is it that same shape/fit as other Shoei's like the Raid 2??

Dunno, sorry. I've only ever really looked at flip-fronts since I started looking for a new lid so I can't compare.

Nolan have the N102 out now. It has a different chin bar to the 101's and a little more room. It has all the same features, removable liner, VPS sunvisor, pinlock visor and is also N-Com bluetooth compatible. Relatively quiet for a flip front and very stable.
Same price too @ $575.00. I can sharpen that for a KB'er.
In stock at AMPS now.
It leaves the Shoei for dead in value for money. Although I can sell you a Shoei too.

Might be up to see you soon, then. See if you can change my mind.
