Hey Guys. Im Blitz's mate and im looking at entering the Motorbike world! Im too lazy to sign up to the forums so im using his log in at the mo!

Anyway. Was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with a Suzuki RMX50 or SMX50.

Im thinking about getting one for the regular commute into uni (about 25ks each way) and the odd blat on the paddock. Would one be ok for my needs?
I like them because they are 50ccs and 6 Speed and can be road legal. And i think they are capable of doing around 70k's standard. I would look at getting some good quality road tyres to put on. Then swap them over when im going to the dirt.

Would the RMX50 be a reliable option? Ive ridden blitz's SRX250 but i dont think i need a 250 bike.

Any input would be great!!

Cheers!:spudwave:
P.S. I will get my own username soon!!

Suzi made a SMX50 that got rave reviews but never sold well. I recall that Kiwi Rider mag reviewed the RMX and liked that too.

they never sold that well, suzuyki brought in one shipment of them, they were a fun bike to ride, communting wouldn;t be that bad on them as long as you don;t need to go on the motorway, off raod they are nice and light and good bike to learn on

They are prettymuch an RG50 engine.

A mate has one to commute to uni every day & seems to be fine.
