Pretty different.
Shitloads enough grunt, and man, the torque! I reckon it would have potential, if it were not for the NZ$150,000 price tag.
And the name... nothing like leaving your brand wide open to have the piss taken (~thal)

I've always thought I was pretty open minded when it came to bikes.
Seems I was wrong.

great engineering

but not at a commercial price and as such unlikely to be a great commercial success

shame as the engineering is truey impressive

Wow. Looks alright i guess. Not to sure about the long flatbottom on the frame under the engine. But way to go! :)

Maybe a renaming for the non-German speaking markets? The Neander is a river, I believe. Nothing funny about that name if you're German. (Neander Tal being the valley of the said river, giving its name to the 'old bones' that are implied by Shadmeister)

The Germans aren't alone - the Rolls Royce 'Silver Mist' was a bit of a clanger on the German market - mist roughly equating to manure.

The world is full of such cultural linguistic disasters for our amusement and edification.
