Took this out for a demo today. Really enjoyed riding it up to Silverdale and back through the East Coast Bays. If only I could afford a new one.

One thing I have noticed when taking out bikes for a test ride, is that you don't really feel the difference between the new bike and your current one untill you get back on your own bike.

I agree with your comments ash. Having got the ZX-6R and still having the Zxr250 its a really interesting change going back to the 250. For me, its been a really good gauge of how far I have pushed the 250 and how much further I can go without having to worry about it highsiding (yes, I hear the experienced riders laughing at the thought but I had to learn for myself!).

But on the Duc... I reckon&nbsp;that SS shape is one of the nicest around!

I took my flatmates 250 out for a short spin - after having ridden the VTR for 18 months......I must say I have never smiled so much in my life.&nbsp; It reminded me of why I got in to riding - the total concentration on making sure corner speed etc is right, whilst riding a bike you can actually manhandle around.&nbsp; Thoroughly enjoyed it.&nbsp; I am thinking of buying an RS250 when I get a bit more wedge.......

You can't be lazy like you can on a 600+ cc bike and rely on torque and/or power to blaze your way round a corner.&nbsp; You need to be in the right gear at the right revs or you know you have cocked the corner up......what a blast - thoroughly recommend it to everyone

hahahaha and for those of us who ride 250's thinking about gears revs ect..... becomes annoying when you are commuting. But&nbsp;when goin for a bit of a blat i think i might find it a bit boring just staying in one gear, not having driven i big bike i'm&nbsp;only guessing though. &nbsp;:D :beer:
