I have 4 months till I get my full and am having a hard time resisting the urge to buy a bigger bike. :pinch:

I rode a 2005 limited edition GSXR750 and actually found that bike easier to ride than my 250, oh and the feeling of power didn't help my efforts to resist getting a bigger bike either:oi-grr:

Yes, I know those fellows well and have seen the bike in person. It's a great bike but I wouldn't buy it - purely cos riding a bike with "Movie Star" written on it is a bit too much for me.

Also the finish isn't as nice as an Alstare - you can easily make out they're stickers. It's as though someone did the work at home, looks rather amateur.

By the way that bike is 17K - :spudwow: The one I wanted to buy was 10K.

But in 4 months, there will be another for sale. Though that is an '05 model, USD forks and apparently more midrange.

In my very very very limited experience; CBR600RRs are awesome. Worth the money.

But you'll get a sore bum riding it.

It's identical to mine. I was offered $11500 on mine, 3 months old with 8,000km on it, as a trade in on a new blade from a shop.. so you do the maths.

I like 'em, yes the first 2 or 3 times the seats quite hard but ive become acustom to it, shes small, agile and dips in fast. She's fast if ridden right and shes not as aggressive as the gixxers. And to top it off i think shes god damn sexxxxxay !!!

I did a 14.16 at 146kmph - then realised I had a full boot, so threw out the first aid kit, socket spanner set, puncture repair kit, toilet paper (for cleaning visor, and screen) and had another run:pinch: got a 15:45 at 148 tho.....

Only did two runs then ran off to :puke: (Puke)

There were a few with 10s runs, I know both Darrells on the R1's were in the 10's.

When I was there last the quickest vehicle was a drag bus with a 9.96 with a damp track O_o.. closest cages were the drag rx7 in black and the red and the white evo 3's that duke it out. edit they were 10.6(rx) -10.97 or so

Amazing the amount of arsing out that bus did, it was amazing. Someone needs to give a strapped zx14 to someone out there. :violin:

Yep, that's the one. Built 1969-1971. Short wheelbase makes for a real interesting ride over 100mph.
