As part of the plan to enhance and improve our working situation (why not give us some money?), we now have a GP come in once a week for half a day. He is situated on the lower ground floor at No. 6.
So we're sitting here, working away, when someone strides into the office, looks around and then heads straight for Subash, our programmer of Indian origin and says "There is supposed to be a doctor available in the basement of No. 6".
"Yes there is" says Subash "But this is No. 9".
The obvious clue to which building we are in is the 3ft tall "9" on the doorway. No. 6 is similarly marked up with a 3ft tall numeral.
Perhaps the next thing we should do is bring in an on-call optician...
