I used to love the easter colouring in competition!
Prize for best design will either be a helmet or a pair of gloves (or both f I can schwingle it) to the winner, but some of you creatives - get yer thinking caps on with this:
Needs the relevant info in an eye catching, legible and inviting design - and be reproducable up to a3 size.
Post a low res here and I'll confirm the prize asap.

Design a poster that will advise and get people to the run.
Communicate the data is the most effective way to the target audience.
Make it fun.
There are no rules other than already stated and common sense with copyrights etc.
I'll pick the winner and judges discretion final.

Mines a bit rough, but I could tidy it up a bit if need be, the font is a bit screwy at low res.. Buggered If I could find that edge logo, the rest were ok to find.

Made me smile - probably should be portrait/poster format.
See what else we get before next step.

I don't know squat about graphics, I still have the PSD, so I guess it could be dicked with to get the sizing to suit poster etc.

Just a question, what program do you do it in and what format does it have to be to put it up on kiwibiker.?
kro

I did mine in photoshop v7.0, and saved it as a JPG file (to post on KB), but if you have Photoshop, keep a .PSD file of whatever you make, you can edit it raw then, and it's alot easier. I am hell noob at it, but its an aawesome program

I have a great idea for a poster, but have not the artistic nous to pull it off, so if someone wants to take this arun with it be my guess....
Main image centetred in poster would be Santas (flying) sleigh swooping from top left to far right, to bottom center being pulled by bikes, not reindeer. Sleigh would be side on aspect apointing right, and lead bike would have completed turn and be heading to bottom left of poster. Trail coming from sleigh would be puffs of smoke mixed with glittery stars on dark blue background. BRONZ logo on side of sleigh.
Words would be arranged above and below image.

One thing that came out of last weeks BRONZ meeting is that the venue is still undecided.
I'll post the full info and a closing date for the comp as soon as I know.
Keep the ideas coming in the meantime.
*I* like the chikky babes - they won't win it however.

Attached is my entry.
Format is in Adobe Illustrator, can be saved out as a high res tiff or PDF depending on what your printer needs. Size is A3 portrait.
If you want it changed in any way let me know. More motorcycles or something, more info, whatever, I can change it all pretty easily.
Anyway, hope you like it.

Oh yeah, I have all of the logos except for the BRONZ one. If you need that cleared up I would need a better copy to work off.
Cheers

Very nice!
Can I suggest you include a hint of a motorcycle or scooter somewhere in the graphic too?
If you need resources - start with a look at my site and if you spot a pic or an angle I'll supply it to you.

Done.
I grabbed the pic off your site. It might be a bit stunty though (if there is such a word). The pic of that Multistrada on the lean could also work just as well.
Let me know what you think.

*I* really like it - but it's too 'illegal' for the job - and the organisation it represents - pretty cool tho.
needs softer core.

OK - lets get this wrapped up by Friday. I have the missing info.
Date for the toy Run is 2nd December at 10.00am from BMW Mt Wellington to the Britomart.
Forbes & Davies have donated a KJC (i think) helmet for the winner. Lets see some proofs.
