Just clicked over 3000 Kays and have discovered a couple of extra incurred costs. $355.00 for the already smoked out rear tyre and $300.00 for a speed camera (132 Kliks) on the way back from Coro..

Better than the Bandit at around 15 kays per litre (fairly spirited riding).

With that kind of performance, one should begin to understand the term, "consumables"! Unfortunately, this can also apply to one's licence...

17km/l average on high-spirited riding.

16km/l average for commuting.

15.5km/l average for trafficky days.

So its more economical the more you thrash it? finally, economy figures that make sense!

Yes. You'll get more milleage for the same RPM on 5th gear than on 2nd gear.
Mind you it does not take much throttling to accelerate quickly on a Busa. Not like a 250, for instance.
Also, when thrashing it you do less idle time. Idling engine drinks so much petrol while producing nothing.
