Nah Mate

Don't bother with it, 250's change the exhaust you have chances of screwing up with the power, it needs back pressure release.

GT 250 R's already have mean sound it's a V Twin what else do you want? If anything play with the muffler not the whole exhaust. Let us know how you get along.

Good luck

Alvin

Blah, what power? we are talking about the GT 250R here my friend.

Aftermarket exhuast are available through the dealer/distributor however anything you can buy for any other bike is capable of being fitted to the GT 250.

A good way to choose an exhuast is to look at what people have on the larger V-Twins as there is a great deal of difference between a V-Twin and Inline 4 engines in regards to sound.

Yoshi's seem to be the way to go.

Debaffling is the easiest way to get a nice note out of the stock GT 250 exhuasts. Its pretty simple. However back firing can occur on heavy engine braking. So my opinion is, fork out for a nice exhuast or don't bother at all.

Yah' cheeky shit!

I think I've met your mate, hes on the naked GT 250 (red) ? Apparently he was one of the first GT 250 owners to have his muffler debaffled and also had 3 teeth taken off the back.

Or maybe I'm mistaken.

Hyosung sell racing exhaust pipes "for track use only". But I will buy one of the pipes if someone buys me the bike to put it on.
