Gee they all knew the Rolling Stones were appearing there last night...

So why didnt they just go out to the movies for the evening...
By the time the movie was finished the Stones concert would have been all over...

Prats like this would not put themselves out for anybody - besides, they'd have nothing to moan about if they went out. Tossers!

Same as people that have moved near Ruapuna, knowing full well there is a international race track there, complaining about the noise. Fucking idiots.

Or those who built near the gokart track, or near Wigram and complain about the noise. HELLOOOO!! If there has been an airfeild there for nearly 100 years how the hell can anyone move there and them complain about the noise???

However, with Ruapuna they kinda have a point- even people who have lived in the area since before the track was built aren't too happy, because originally the track could only be used for 125(?) days a year, but recently this was upped to 365 days without public consultation. The sound of the racing schools RX7's droning around the track all day would drive anyone nuts!

They have to have something to whinge about. I mean, if it isn't the noise coming from the neighbours loo because they're pissing straight down the middle or the fact that cats aren't microchipped then buying a house in that area gaurantees them 20 nights a year where they can complain. Unlike the rest of us they don't have a life of their own and must impose themselves on others to feel that life is worth living. Otherwise, what would they do?? Top themselves?? What a shame that would be eh.

THE REASON THOSE FAGS DIDN'T GO OUT TO THE MOVIES LAST NIGHT IS THAT IT MIGHT SHOW VIOLENCE OR SOMETHING, MY GOODNESS WE CAN'T HAVE THAT. THE MOVIES MIGHT BE TOO LOUD AS WELL.

PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN! SOMEONE SHOULD HIRE A PLANE AND DO A MASS FLOUR/EGG DROP ON COMPLAINANTs HOUSES. SOME OF MY MATES MOVED INTO WESTERN SPRINGS 2 MONTHS AGO NOT TOO FAR FROM THE VENUE AND LIKE THE NOISE, THEY DON'T START MOANING ABOUT IT. IT WAS THERE BEFORE THEM ANYWAY. :tugger:

This is not a case of which came first - the track was there first. The residents moved to near a racetrack/concert venue. they knew it was there before they moved. F*ck off back to whatever slimy f*cking rock you slipped out from under if you don't like it. FAGS!

I reckon if I lived somewhere and could hear the rolling stones playing for free - I'd open all the windows and doors and sit back and listen.

some of those complaining fucks said the noise fromthe springs traumatizes their young children , my answer to this is , why the fuck would you shift into a house knowing that the excessive noise will traumatize your kids .that is neglect and failing to take care of your kids , someone should contact cyfs and get their kids taken off them

Well yeah Nickelback chucked in for free as well. The Rolling Stones are a hard act to compare with but I reckon Nickelback were pretty good though nowhere near as LOUD as the Stones were...

They probably all work for CYPFs... Thats probably why their kids are traumatised!

Haha, I saw the stones, it wasnt loud at all, in fact is was quite! I could barley hear them! (although I was RIIIIGT at the back) The only reason it was quite was becasue of the neighbours so after the concert an idea came to me!

ENOUGH TALK! Kb'ers NOW is the time to strike back! 3am laps round the springs every friday/saterday night excessive revving and no baffles a must! whos with me! - Im sure after a few weeks they will move! If we get enuff people we could have teams and do it every single night maaaan! Rock and or Roll!!

The root of the problem with Western Springs lies with the namby-pamby Auckland City Council, pandering to those twats who have shifted into the area, knowing full well what Western Springs is/has been used for.

Seems to me they are more interested in extracting exorbetant rates from these residents, and bending over for them at the slightest hint of a pin dropping at the Springs.

Its a great way to put Auckland on the map for future concerts aint it - maybe the other councils around this part of the world should put their hand up, build the right size stadium/s, and and shove it up the ACC

I forgot to add how much a bunch of tossers all the neighbours are in my area. These two old geezers throw a pissy fit at me for just riding past, and I wasn't even being noisy, but still they decide to yell at me. People need to fucken get some brains.

Has got to the stage that if you subdivide any land off you have to really cover your arse.

Just bought 7 acres and title has a clause which purchaser agrees that they will never take legal action nor support any one who is taking legal action against farmer carrying out normal farming operations.

Anyone notice something strange about these noise complaints?. Traditionlly it's the oder generation who complain but in this case all the whingers seem to be in the 30s age group. All the Stones fans I saw on the news report were 50 to 60 year old and loving it. I too lived in the Springs area for a few years. The speedway was a great place to take the kids. No booze, no fighting, just a good cheap night out for the family. The 'upwardly mobile twats' who are buying into the area are no doubt looking to increase their profits in the near future. Banning speedway and concerts would speed up the process.
Maybe publishing the names of these complainants would bring them some of the attention they deserve

I like to feel the music.

Very much like apartment dwellers complaining about Kenny Rogers busking in Wellington or whatever.............

I don't know which is worse - the fact I agree with WINJA, or the fact there's not another option to this reply...

Those resident's that purchased their housing in the area BEFORE the speedway and venue were built can rightly complain. Anyone else can build a bridge...

Are there any people who bought before the speedway was built?? If they are, they will be too deaf to hear it!

But I think the person who is complaining works in the media wanting to make an exclusive story or some shit

Fucking wankers! If you complain about noise then you live a sad fucking life. It really pisses me off!

I'm a drummer so I make a fair bit of noise at times. If a neighbour comes over asking me politely to keep it down for an hour or so then I will consider it. If they come over ranting and raving about the noise then l just tell them to fuck off or I'll ring the cops, then I slam the door. And both of these have happened and that is exactly what I will continue to do.

People who have moved anywhere near a place like Western Springs or Manfield etc etc have absolutely no right to complain. If the place was built after they moved there then that's acceptable. But moving there and then complaining...

They should all be fucking shot! If I lived there, I'd be soaking up the concerts and engine noises.
