I want to own a Harley one day,(gotta have a dream) still on my restricted so I can't legally ride it even if I did bid on it and won. I notice the front fork has a nice dent in it and still a couple of questions that haven't been answered.

I got a few days to talk to the wife before it ends...haha

$18k ish + I reckon if it isn't bent. I don't like the look of the dent in the RH fork, I reckon the thing is bent and wouldn't bid on it unless I had it checked out.

dent in tin cover on fork leg is nothing to worry about, it is just a cover and not the forks

bike is probably worth $18k

biggest problem is it is 1991 and they had dodgy crank cases 1990 - 92 that tended to crack

you would need to insure that it has beenrecalled and fixed properly

evo motors generally are bullet proof and will do 100,000 miles without any real problems

parts are cheap and they are easy to work on

It's a cheap Harley at $9750, and it does look like a cover over the fork tube thats ding-ed. Even if the forks aren't dodgy, it will always handle like a Hog.:msn-wink:

I have looked into the dodgy 1990-92 engine case problem as I have one myself. They are typically fine unless you try to bore them out or stroke them to increase capacity. I remember the bike in question - it'll fetch a good price I think. The $1 dollar reserve attracts attention, does it not?
