MOTORCYCLING TO ENJOY MORE TV COVERAGE


30 March 2006


Motorcycling New Zealand today confirmed that SKY Television will screen Road Racing from the 7th April through to the 24th April 2006.

Coverage to be as follows:

We have been advised that the more positive feedback they receive on the screening, increases the possibility of featuring more motorcycling on TV. We encourage you to phone 0800 759 759 or e-mail sky@skytv.co.nz positive feedback on the programming of the above events.


Come on, lets get a lot of positive feed back going to these people, it is our sport, let them know that we appreciate having TV time.

sent, and I don't even have Sky!!

The more coverage racers get, the more likely sponsors will back more racers, which means better, more entertaining racing, and the easier it would be for those struggling to race and for those who'd love to race, but just can't afford anything

Saw the races on sky yesterday (Puke event where sam smith did 59.01 and gave strout the learn!)

Done! Thanks for the E-mail address. I asked if they could cover the whole range of motorcycling activities with some positive exposure due to the fact that most media coverage on motorcycles is negative. Cheers John.

Actually the Road racing they had advertised wasn't shown anyway(well the stuff I went to watch on the 10th and 17th)

What refund? Oh yeah, they deducted $2.50 from our accounts, then a week later sent us all a letter saying the price was increasing by $3.45.

Nice one Sky. I've just sent them a vintage Finn message.
