well now that I have changed my bike twice since I had the Hayabusa with rego 30utd, I thought it about time I changed my name with prompting from Dangerous.
I have brought a new 2005 model Aprilia Tuono ,with the Titanium pipe and Eprom chip. Its a totaly differant bike than the K4 1000 I had.
i love the sound and the power delivery and the way it goes around corners so easily.

Tuono..... means Thunder, and sounds it too.

The Tuono isn't a patch on the K4, glad ya got rid of it... but bugger it there goes my w/e Akaroa GP wheelie bike (k4) I must remember to treat the Tuono with more respect aye...
Thunder has already potted me on the Tuono tho... bloody thing records its max speed and remembering its new, opps sorry man... having said that its Itialian remember so I was prolly just doing 81kph, besides it wasn't reving I'd hate to try and hang on to it at its top speed... doubt it would be posible.

LOL.... k14 dident really say much about his pillion ride on the old airhead 2 valve pushrod donk, what he tell you? was a rather quick ride considering.
BTW: that wee runt looks skinny as but weighs in at a bit, hence the sharft drive mono's (just for those that reckon sharfties cant do it) :scooter:

Anyone want to buy TL Riders new ZX10??? Huh?? Comeon someone, I gotta get my Tuono somehow, I'll sell it at a good price, promise, but cant guarantee TL Rider wont track it down, buyers risk here....but but it's tempting.
Oh well, I'll settle for my new SV in June and wait a little longer for my dream bike.
Good on ya Thunder, Im rapped for you, enjoy:rockon:

I'll laborate.

It looks wicked. It sounds f**in wicked. It handles like a snail with a superglue trail. Feels seriously light, flickable and balanced. It goes alright. Not K4ish but seriously quick anyway. Shifting is slick too.

Took a bit of getting used to launchin it from standstill. It needs a few rpm or it just dies. Also, after the SV, the short hook to the gear shift took a bit of getting used to, the foot is on a real angle getting under it... '

Fun Fun Fun Fun Fun!
