This bit fell of my Yamaha YJ50 and I'm shall we say mechanically challenged, so I have no idea what it is all about. It landed just beside the kickstand on the left hand side, and there was a slight dribble of oil on the ground, though the oil may have been from long ago and I just never noticed before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The scooter seems to run OK, but I'd like to know what parts I need and don't need before taking it anywhere :p

I'm trying to learn these things rather than running to the bike store every time something's wrong, so please bear with me. :scooter:

(And let's hope I managed to attach that image correctly..)

looks like an over flow plug , it will come from under the bike somewhere , itll be from the 2 stroke oil overflow or airbox drain or similar .

Ah, cheers. Thought it might be something like that.

its the over flow plug from the airbox.
2strokes can spit gas back into the airbox. so at the lowest point of the airbox there will be a drain tube.

put it back on with a stronger spring clip.

Cheers,
Jono.
