So mine started to slip after a few laps of MX (me holding on for dear life!!)

So I heard Hair spray works to make them stick well. True? I like not having them wired, Fucking things poke me!

They're like postage stamps.
You'll need to lick the inside of them to activate the adhesive.

Gosh, when my grips wear out I always buy a new bike, because I reckon the rest of it must be worn out too....

Ignore those two,couple of grippers.

I just use a spray can of contact adhesive and leave for a few day.

I don't bother -I use lockwire to lock em in place

hairspray works well, but contact adhesive is best. 5 min araldite works too, and can be ridden on in 30 mins. i use tie wraps instead of lockwire

I've had good results with Urethane Bond (one of the adhesives Selleys sells in the small tubes). Stays put even on those really wet days - unlike other glues I've tried.

F2 or araldite, then lockwire them. If you stop being so cheap you go buy some stainless thin lockwire & some spinner pliers, or just use vicegrips & practice.

You fold over the last 3mm to make a blunter end, but then you push the end back into the grip so it can't prick you anyway. A decent pair of pliers can do this even in the least dexterous hands.

Is that why I don't get a good finish with No8 and fencing pliers?

or you could just ask your friendly local aircraft engineer for his snap-on ones, and a length of .032' lockwire.....

I think you have to apply No.8 by running into the fence. Seemingly this is how most people learn to ride a dirtbike on uncle Jim's farm.

Spinner pliers can be found for ~$50, probably cheaper at supercheap maybe?

if you do the wiring job correctly you won't have a problem, just make sure you cut off all the excess and make it nice and tight.
